Restore hope, Nurture resilience, Find wholeness

Serena Lee, LCSW

Providing trauma psychotherapy for individuals and groups in Santa Barbara and virtually across California

Welcome to Soul Tea Therapy

Perhaps some of these experiences resonate with you…

  • You survived ongoing childhood trauma that cast shadows on your everyday life as an adult.

  • Struggles with dissociation and constant internal conflicts make you feel disoriented and uncertain of who you really are.

  • Triggers seem to be everywhere and cause intense emotional rollercoasters that you have difficulties coping with.

  • Mental health challenges are a significant reason for your suffering, whether it causes internal anguish or external consequences on your ability to function well.

  • Relationships seem too difficult, boundaries feel impossible to implement, and you sometimes believe love and care are beyond your reach or something you don’t deserve.

If any of these descriptions sound like your experience, you and I may be a good fit in working together!

Using various trauma-informed therapeutic techniques in conjunction with an anti-oppressive and LGBTQ+ affirming lens, I seek to help my clients do more than just talk about the day to day struggles, but to make tangible changes that can free suppressed emotions and parts of yourself longing for nurturance and acceptance.

I’m Serena!

and I am a Taiwanese-American licensed clinical social worker based in Santa Barbara, CA, though I also provide remote telehealth psychotherapy services for clients all over California!

My deepest intention in journeying with clients is to provide space for you to discover and love all parts of yourself, heal painful wounds from past trauma, and forge a path towards a life of clarity, peace, and authenticity.

After all, it was through my own healing journey that I found my purpose in walking alongside others with mental health challenges and histories of complex trauma. I continue to explore my own story and learn about myself, which only strengthens my resolve to protect the sacred space I share with clients when we deep dive into vulnerable areas.
